The Vodafone Foundation for Research (Vodafone-Stiftung für Forschung im Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft) has awarded its Fritz-Joussen-Award for Market- and Customer Orientation 2015 to Prof. Dr. Stephan Daurer.

The price was awarded for the research work Location-based Services and Consumer Search on the Mobile Internet. This research investigates the impact of smartphones on consumer behavior and how companies are able to leverage techologies in the domain of telecommunication and digital media.
